Eva Heinelt Isleva – Art between Intuition and Experiment
Eva Heinelt Isleva has lived and worked in Wiesbaden for over 18 years, where she lives out her passion for art and creativity. As a teacher and artist, she combines pedagogical skills with creative sensitivity. Her art is created intuitively - she follows the impulses that arise from the materials she uses.
From sand, plaster and cardboard to acrylic paint, pastel chalk and filler and even epoxy resin: Eva Isleva works with a fascinating variety of materials. Her techniques combine these to create impressive images and objects. Figures and shapes come to the fore depending on the level of abstraction, without ever appearing blatant. Her works thrive on strong contrasts, the communication between space, color and light, and the playful handling of chance, chaos and form.
Artistic Journey and Inspiration
Eva Isleva has been devoted to painting since 2001. She began her artistic training at the Free Waldorf Schools in Stuttgart and Mannheim and at the Free Art School in Wiesbaden. Since 2005, she has increasingly focused on abstract painting, the depth and expressiveness of which she has perfected through experimentation and constant development.
The artist finds inspiration on her worldwide travels, which continue to shape her. The impressions of distant countries, cultures and landscapes are reflected in her art and give her works an extraordinary liveliness.
