Eva Heinelt – artist, teacher and gallery owner
Eva Heinelt has lived and worked in Wiesbaden for over 18 years, where she devotes herself to her passion for art and creativity. Her works are created in an intuitive creative process in which she is inspired by the versatile properties of the materials used. Sand, plaster, cardboard, acrylic paint, pastel chalk, filler and epoxy resin merge into fascinating images and objects through her techniques. Figures and shapes emerge in varying degrees of abstraction without slipping into the blatant.
Eva Heinelt's works are characterized by strong contrasts and the interaction between space, color and light. The dialogue between chaos and form as well as the conscious use of coincidences give her works an unmistakable liveliness.
Eva Heinelt completed her studies at the Free Waldorf School in Stuttgart and Mannheim as well as at the Free Art School in Wiesbaden. Since 2001 she has devoted herself intensively to her passion, painting, and since 2005 she has increasingly dealt with abstract art. She finds inspiration on her worldwide travels, which always provide new impulses for her work.
Another milestone in her artistic career is the takeover of the H22 gallery in Wiesbaden, which will offer a new platform for art and creativity under her management from January 1, 2025. The H22 gallery will not only exhibit her own works, but will also provide exhibition space for guest artists. It will also be a place for cultural events, workshops and exchanges with art lovers.
In addition to her artistic work, Eva Heinelt is also active as a teacher. This combination of art and teaching inspires people of all ages to discover the world of art for themselves in a creative way. Her workshops and courses offer space for individual development and promote her enthusiasm for creative work in a unique way.
