GALERIE H22 invites you to the vernissage of the exhibition “Ice Age”
on Friday, January 25th, at 7:00 p.m., at Herderstraße 22 in Wiesbaden.
painting, sculpture and glass objects
by Peter Bernhard, Wolfgang Blanke, Susan Geel and Amador Vallina
"Ice Age" is the title of the latest exhibition at Herderstrasse 22 in Wiesbaden. In keeping with the cold season, four artists from the H22 gallery are exhibiting together. In addition to paintings by Peter Bernhard, Wolfgang Blanke and Amador Vallina, the exhibition is complemented by sculptures by Susan Geel and Amador Vallina as well as glass objects by Peter Bernhard.
“Ice Age” means the first snow that falls in summer, frost and bitter cold that surrounds us day and night and just doesn’t stop.
The four artists do not only understand the term literally, but the exhibition is also about the Ice Age in a figurative sense:
When people no longer have anything to say to each other, when profit counts more than compassion, when everyone only cares about themselves, when only the ruthless prevail in society, when the right of the strongest applies, when greed and cruelty rule, then the ice age has already begun.
The exhibition “Ice Age” is open every Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and lasts until March 10, 2019.
