"Shamanic Art" in GALERIE H22 in Wiesbaden

GALERIE H22 invites you to the vernissage of the exhibition “Shamanic Art”

on Friday, November 1st, at 7:00 p.m., at Herderstraße 22 in Wiesbaden.

Painting by Nora Katthöfer and Peter Bernhard

Music by Namadu and jam session

The fire of ancient shamans still burns. It is the creative power inherent in all artists, capable of depicting abstract thoughts, feelings and desires in pictures or To banish fears and anxieties. In the creative act, the idea becomes an image. Times have changed, but there are still methods in art that can be called shamanic.

The painter and art therapist, Nora Katthöfer, interweaves experiences with excerpts from shamanic journeys and inner processes and allows chance to play a role.

Unique worlds emerge that invite the viewer to connect with the images in an intuitive way and tell stories within themselves.

This allows the images to come alive and communicate.

Peter Bernhard deals with a series of works with different psychological states. The expressive, non-representational paintings correspond to the 38 states of mind of the Bach flowers.

Bernhard's series is complemented by works in which he deals with different levels of reality in terms of form and content.

At the vernissage on November 1st At 7:00 p.m., guests can expect not only visual art, but also music by Sarah Mechtel, Tammam Hariri, David Studtrucker and David Bernast, known under the names Namadu and Jam Session.
