Kolmannskuppe is a ghost town located in the southern part of the Namib Desert. At the beginning of the last century, after diamonds were found in this area, it was built in the unreal wasteland and left to the desert again after the diamond rush had subsided. When I visited this place, I noticed how varied the play of colors in the desert can be - and in the case of Kolmannskuppe, interrupted by a diverse potpourri of shapes.

Eva Heinelt ist Künstlerin und Lehrerin aus Wiesbaden, die sich seit über 18 Jahren der Kunst widmet. Ihre Arbeiten verbinden Materialien wie Sand, Gips, Acryl und Epoxidharz in einem intuitiven Prozess, der starke Kontraste und eine lebendige Interaktion zwischen Raum, Farbe und Licht schafft. Seit 2005 liegt ihr Fokus auf abstrakter Kunst, inspiriert von weltweiten Reisen. Ab 2025 leitet sie zusammen mit Steffen Ilg die Galerie H22 in Wiesbaden und bietet dort eine Plattform für Kreativität. Als Lehrerin inspiriert sie Menschen aller Altersgruppen, die Welt der Kunst zu entdecken.
